How TempBox Works

Understand the flow from address generation to inbox reading.

1. Generate an address

Click "Generate Temporary Address" on the inbox page. TempBox instantly creates a real, functional mailbox — no registration or personal information needed.

2. Use the address

Copy the generated address and use it wherever you need temporary email — sign-up forms, newsletters, downloads. All incoming messages appear in your TempBox inbox.

3. Read your messages

TempBox automatically checks for new messages every 10 seconds. Click any message to read it. Email content is safely processed before being displayed.

4. Session and lifetime

Your mailbox is tied to your current browser tab. It survives a page refresh but ends when you close the tab. Mailboxes automatically expire after 2 hours, after which all messages are permanently deleted.
