What is TempBox?
TempBox is a free temporary email service that allows you to receive emails at a disposable email address that self-destructs after a certain time. It is designed to keep your primary inbox free from spam, promotional clutter, and potential security risks.
Unlike traditional email services, TempBox requires absolutely no signup or registration. Just click to generate a temporary inbox and start receiving emails instantly.
Why use a temporary email address?
Spam Prevention
Avoid marketing emails and newsletters when signing up for one-time services.
Privacy
Protect your real identity and personal email address from untrusted websites.
Testing
Developers can quickly test email delivery, sign-up flows, and notifications without creating fake accounts.
How Temp Mail Works
When you click "Generate New Mailbox", TempBox instantly creates a new email address and stores a secure access key in your browser for the duration of your session.
Emails arrive instantly and are displayed in real-time. Because it's a disposable email, the inbox and its contents are automatically deleted by the provider once the retention period expires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover an expired mailbox?
No. Once the temporary email address expires or is deleted, all emails are permanently erased from the provider's servers and cannot be recovered.
Are my emails private?
While TempBox uses secure connections (HTTPS), temporary emails are designed for disposable use. Do not use temp mail for sensitive, personal, or financial accounts.
